Aerial Lineman Manager
As an aerial lineman, your duties revolve around the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead or buried power lines or cabling used for electrical or power distribution systems.
Requirements
Able to work under mildly safe and uncomfortable conditions where exposure to environmental factors such as temperature variations, odors, and toxic agents
Able to pull up loads of up to 100 pounds
Able to exert heavy physical effort in moderate to heavy work
Project Executive
This role will be the direct supervisor of field construction crews and Supervisors; planning, directing, and organizing their day to day operations. This role will be overseeing underground fiber and utility installation projects of various sizes and scopes of work.
Requirements
Experience in underground/aerial utility construction
Experience supervising underground utility and fiber installation construction crews
Valid Driver License
Project Supervisor
The Aerial Construction Supervisor is responsible for coordination, delegation, supervision and quality control of onsite work including responsibility for performance and productivity of all aerial/underground construction crews.
Requirements
Extensive experience and knowledge of all aspects of Aerial/Utility CATV construction
Working knowledge of engineering work prints, ability to understand and interpret construction documents
Knowledge of outside plant safety procedures
Ability to direct crews and communicate with teammates and customers
Practical knowledge on Microsoft Office products to include: Word, Excel, etc
Supervisor in Fiber Optic Cable Installation
This position is responsible for performing specialized technical duties in the repair, maintenance and installation of the fiber optic network. Successful performance results in a highly reliable fiber optic communication network for employees and citizens.
Requirements
Ability to work comfortably and effectively with the public is a must
Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent
Skilled and certified to climb poles, any height
Fiber Splicer
The Fiber Splicer duties revolve around fiber optic cables installation, including loose tube and ribbon cables, constructing proper splice cases, and fiber termination panels. A Fiber Splicer must be proficient and competent in Fusion Splicers, OTDRs, Power Meters and testing of fiber optic networks. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to fiber optic cabling dressing and installation
Requirements
Experience with fiber cable construction, splicing, and repair
Ability to install, troubleshoot, splice, and maintain fiber optic systems
Perform fusion splicing and OTDR tests
Ability to troubleshoot fiber issues
Prep and hang fiber optic enclosures, nodes, and related equipment
Proficiency with hand tools, including cable jacket strippers, crimpers, and diagnostic equipment
Ability to pull up and carry up to 70 pounds or more
Ability to work under any weather conditions
Ability to operate the aerial lift and other related equipment
OSP Construction Manager
OSP Construction Manager's role is to direct the performance of the proficient construction personnel on assigned duties following prescribed safety procedures. Including but not limited to: pilot the appropriate safety equipment for the aerial and underground construction work, oversee the installation, and evaluate the precision of utility location pathways/marks for aerial and underground cable, including the OSP fiber optic.
Requirements
Must have the knowledge and proven experience in underground construction, aerial construction, and OSP fiber optic construction
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Strong organizational and communication skills (good oral English is a must)
Strong ability to multitask
Comfortable working with multiple teams within the business
Work up to 6 days per week in an all-weather environment and be willing to travel as required
